Physical Landscapes

Teaching about the border almost necessitates a discussion of the geographic boundaries, but also invokes questions about the power of geo-political lines.  Clearly the air, water, wildlife, and plants that exist in the liminality of the U.S.-Mexico border are unaware of the dividing line.  Here we provide resources to think about the spanning environmental concerns as well as resources related to mapping the boundary.  We hope that these resources will help to develop conversations about the impacts of dividing land into arbitrary national segments.
